90s Primary School Things:
• Being jealous of kids in school who had an inflatable backpack hung up in the cloak room. 
• Indoor PE only meant one thing… THIS:

• The excitement when being able to play on the school field at play time - but only once the midday assistants told you the grass was dry enough!
• That feeling of upmost elation when the teacher chooses YOU to return the register back to the office (only made better by being told you can also take a friend with you - yay!)
• Handing out party invitations at school and feeling mega popular when you got your RSVPs back.
• Arranging going to your friends house for tea via your parents. 
• How amazing Dweezils birthday parties were (remember, the one above Westbrook Asda?)
• When YoYos and Conkers were banned because there was always one group of lads who took it too far. So gutted. 

• Being given the privilege of being in charge of the OHP was everyone's dream.

• Collecting smelly gel pens and there being absolutely no reason to use the yellow and white ones because you just couldn't see them.
• Fashion Faux Pas: Skousers, Butterfly clips, scrunchies, roll-on body glitter gel… pretty much everything from Tammy.


• There was always a group of girls perfecting Spice Girls dance routines and songs - using the steps near the class room doors as a mini stage.
• Forever longing to be on 'Get Your Own Back' or having a go in 'Fun House'. 
00's High School Things:
• Spending all day with your friends at school then spending all night talking about school on MSN. 

• Using up all your mobile top up almost instantly and having to wait a week until your next pocket money to top up. GAH!

• That very exciting moment when you get to do P.E. outside at the same time as the boys. Flirt central. 
• Having PE at the end of the day and getting to go home from school 5 mins before everyone else because you didn't have to get changed *fist pump*.

• Knowing what every colour meant and buying hundreds more on the market every weekend.

• Writing I <3 and the name of who you fancied on the back of your hand and hoping they would accidentally-on-purpose see it. ;)
• Making that group decision before P.E. that if we do the bleep test today, we all quit at the same time so you don't look stupid and unfit.  
• Writing long notes to your friends who were in different lessons to you, then exchanging them at break time. 


• Totally relating to the problem pages in Mizz, Shout and Cosmo Girl mags and relying on the flow charts to define your life and mood.
• Wearing 2-pairs of socks during the first 2 weeks of the new school term because your super-cute cool new dolly shoes were so damn uncomfortable. 
• Spending more time making your Myspace profile unbelievably cool than on your school work. 
• Going to the cinema with your friends but spending more time sat in the arcade or trying to get the boys to use the dance mat machine with you.
